Prevention Begins Before There Is a Crisis.

Lynda Harlos | Workplace Wellness & Exploitation Prevention Speaker

Lynda Harlos is an independent lived-experience prevention educator and speaker who helps workplaces and organizations recognize vulnerability, understand exploitation and abuse, and approach difficult conversations with greater awareness. Through practical, prevention-focused presentations on consent, boundaries, coercive control and human connection, she helps audiences recognize what might otherwise be overlooked.

Lynda believes one conversation can  change everything. Because prevention is easier than rescue, and often begins when we pay attention, ask questions and take the time to listen.

“Lynda delivered an incredibly powerful and necessary presentation on domestic violence to our city hall employees. Her ability to navigate a sensitive topic with absolute professionalism, care, and deep expertise left a lasting impression on our team. Several staff members explicitly shared how valuable and eye-opening her insights were. I highly recommend Lynda to any corporate or public organization looking for an impactful speaker who can truly connect with an audience.”

“Lynda, I always appreciate your approach as you share your topics. You provide sound reasoning toward why you do or did what you did, yet you equally release the reader to do what they believe they need to do in their given situation or circumstance.”

I am a mom of 3 sons…two of them teenagers.  I could relate to so many things you said. There is no better feeling than knowing you’re not alone as a parent in so many situations. Your words give me strength as a mother to stay strong.

TEDx Speaker | Author | Founder of Parent With Purpose

Lynda Harlos turns lived experience into practical prevention education, helping people recognize warning signs, understand vulnerability and have the difficult conversations that can make a difference before a crisis.

After discovering that her daughter had been trafficked without recognizing what was happening to her, Lynda began asking, “What did we not know?” That question became the foundation of her work.

Today, she speaks to workplaces, organizations and professional audiences about vulnerability, exploitation, coercive control, difficult conversations, consent and boundaries. Her presentations help people recognize what might otherwise be overlooked and understand how greater awareness and meaningful conversations can make a difference.

Lynda believes one conversation can change everything. Her approach is personal, practical and prevention-focused, empowering people to move beyond awareness and take meaningful action.

Prevention is easier than rescue.
